I bought my first ASUS laptop almost two years ago. I had one small issue with the left click button, but that actually made me like ASUS even more. First of all, I called at 10pm on a Saturday night (free 24/7 telephone support ftw) and they helped me set up an RMA and a free overnight shipping label. I took it to the nearest Fedex/Kinkos and dropped it off and I expected to be without my laptop for at least a weak. On Wednesday morning at 10:30am I hear the doorbell ring and answer it; it was Fedex with my laptop. I couldn't believe it, they not only fixed it in one day, but payed for overnight shipping both ways. And there is a standard 2 year warranty on most ASUS laptops. It's really nice to know that during the school year, if my laptop breaks, I won't be without it for long. But looking at this study, it looks like I shouldn't have many issues. I will be upgrading to an ASUS UL30a soon and I look forward to it..

The North Americans are, once again, behind the rest of the world. In Canada, we're just finally starting to ditch CDMA, with all of our major providers offering a GSM network. AFAIK, most of the rest of the world has been on GSM for... a comparatively long time :p
