Being a developer myself, mostly in .NET for work, this is why Apple doesn't have more of a share of the market. It's unwillingness to cater to developers. Granted this is cause for a lot of the issues with Windows but giving people more of an option to create custom software on their platform would give people a much bigger incentive to use that platform.!

Are you sure you're only getting 1.6 Mega bits per second down and not 1.6 Mega Bytes Per Second down? Because 1.6MBps would be just shy of 16Mbps...Note the difference in Mbps and MBps - most applications measure your throughput in bytes per second, whereas ISP's advertise their speeds in bits per second. 8 bits to a byte....It's a common confusion. For example: 16Mbits would be the equivalent of 2MBytes.

I totally agree with you. However, caloric intake is pretty much the same as mass. I think you mean the type of calorie. Considering, some are good (protien, carbs), but most are bad (fat, sugar). However, even if people are eating the good stuff, the portions are usually too large for one sitting.
