The chemical applied to the water only kills fish, not frogs, not birds, not reptiles, not insects. There's more in a pond than fish.
What an awkward position that man was in.

I think a trip to Mars and back is more of a sure thing than the education of some of today's youth.
Whoa whoa whooooa there. This is a west coast Safeway (buy the looks of it) and I'm guessing it's Oregon. That being said, when the man above is talking about good beer, he sure ain't talking about that sorry imported list (though I'll take that wifebeater stamp from my love of Stella, but I digress), he's talking about the TOP SHELF there.First theres Bridgeport IPA, which is true Hop-fest of mouth love. Then theres Pyramid/MacTarnahan's, another fine OR label. And finally you have the ever popular Fat Tire. A bit more mainstream now than the other two, but still an amazing beer.!

I don't know why people are bashing the father so much. The kid will learn English just fine when he grows up, unless if he has a learning disability. Take, for example, the many foreign kids who were brought to the US as a kid (me included). It would've have been more useful if the kid were taught another more popular language, but there is value in teaching the kid a different language, be it Klingon, Sindarin, etc. It actually allows them to acquire other languages easier, and teaches them that grammar structure can be something other than English.?

*cough* "... and which scientists suggest is too small for nuclear power purposes but suitable for making nuclear bombs."That's what the USA Today news says - How does the the U.N. report report it though?P.S. From comments on the article page..."From hassani1387:PROPAGANDA!!!!!!!!!!USA Today and the AP are deliberately misleading you. The facility in Qom was never intended to "power a nuclear fuel plant" and the UN never said that the facility is "for bombs, not power' -- that's a false conclusion that USA TOday is attributing to the UN without any basis. The facility is intended as bunker to protect a PILOT enrichment facility in case of bombings -- NOT as a full-fledged nuclea fuel plant. The IAEA report never reaches the conclusions attributed to it by this article. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PROPAGANDA!" |
