As someone diagnosed with a super rare cancer (only 14 cases in the nation) when the hospitals in my area couldn't do anything we started asking different cancer centers if they could help, Cancer Treatment Centers of America wouldn't even look at me. I can believe they misled this poor woman and her (now deceased) husband into believing they had gotten approval from the insurance company.

The scientific term is called "motivated reasoning". It's not how science should be done. Science is about building relationships, keeping an open mind, reading as much as you can about the various theories, and waiting until you've actually learned a theory to compare and contrast it with those you already understand. You've not done any of this.
