Coming soon to a business near you, Federal Cybersecurity laws, doing for IT what Sarbanes-Oxley did for accounting! Hope your networked hardware and software came from a vendor with good lobbyists otherwise your stuff won't be on the Cybersecurity Czar's approved list and you could face heavy penalties on your tax return for not operating complaint equipment. Of course I exaggerate some, but the Governments actions will always leave you with less freedom than you had before they acted.
I'm at work, looking at my Pip Boy bobble-head right now. :-)

OMG. Does Apache license have rules relating to patents, though? Also, keep in mind there are many parts of the .NET framework that are integrally tied to Windows - for example, Windows.Forms has a farktonne of idiosyncratic behavior that comes from the underlying Windows implementation of the GUI objects (the corresponding implementation in Mono is a valiant but futile project).

Books like Twilight are female pornography. The men in them are no more realistic than the depictions of women in hardcore porn videos are of real women. The only difference is that male pornography is considered crass by society because it's based blatantly around looks and ***** whereas female pornography is a bit more subtle. |
