We really are eating corn. Nearly every food on your plate had something to do with corn. Why? Corn is the most subsidized commodity in the world. Big Mac? Corn product. Soft drink? Corn product. Nearly every "cheap" food you can get your hands on has corn in it or its production. The cheapest foods on the market have two things in common: They're high in calories and made from corn. American obesity correlates directly with income levels because the cheapest food is also the most fattening. People think that obesity is a result of personal responsibility, but it's really a result of not having the money to buy health, low calorie food. Let's face facts where does the majority of low income Americans shop? That would be Wal Mart. Why? It's because they offer products for extremely cheap. So from this we can assume that poor people buy the cheapest products they can get. Since high calorie, corn-based, foods are the cheapest, poor people can only afford to be fat. Since they're poor, they most likely work very long hours just to make what they can which rules out time for exercise. So, my point is that we use corn for every-fricking-thing in the world and it's made things worse for everyone. So whenever you see new uses for corn be touted, ask yourself this, "Isn't there a more responsible way to do it?" The truth is, we don't need any more uses for corn, we need to find ways to use other resources that do it better than corn.
Utopia is a mythical place we will never reach. There always has to be the scapegoat, or the burden. Capitalism, human nature, evolution... they are all derived the same. All are based on the fact that there are winners and there are losers.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Ones_Who_Walk_Awa ...

Wow, looks like there is a lot of hate for my home state. Don't forget we gave you Bill Clinton, those were fun times. In all seriousness though, I've been through Ozark several times; it's not a place for minorities, and apparently not for children either..
They should have made them fix-able by blowing in them like they used to. Worked every time.!

SPOILERS: Ghost is voiced by the same guy who did Gaz in MW1, but there's no indication that they're the same person (Gaz was shot in the freaking head in the first game, no way he survived; Price I can understand since you don't really see him die). That said, they're essentially the same character, though Ghost has almost no personality in MW2 (none of the characters do really). The only reason I can see anyone liking him is because of his mask.

@marm0lade You genuinely sound peeved which sort of confuses me, but you at least owned up to buring me which I wish more people on digg did, so let's chat.I recognize that the "I only listen to one track" argument is valid for a lot of people and I won't question that. I'm not one of those people but I can recognize the validity of the argument.Let's talk about price first. My last two albums I purchased (not trying to sound like an advertisement, just doing this for the sake of the argument) were Good Apollo I'm burning star IV from Coheed & Cambria and Victory Songs by Ensiferum.Amazon places those CDs as $8 and $12 respectively. MP3s from itunes for $9 and $10 respectively and MP3s from amazon for $9.50 and $10 respectively. So buy buying both as CDs I spent between $.50 and $1 more. That's more or less the same price in my book dude, but I guess you're technically right, that's a few pennies cheaper."may or may not have DRM" is a statement I made because we were discussing digital music in general. Has Apple dropped DRM? Yeah, they have. Has everyone else? Actually I don't know, but I'm under the impression that some places have not. Hence I qualified it as "may or may not" as we're comparing across a very large market, I was not singling out Apple on this one.Is it greener? Sure, no arguments there, it is.I still have my claim that for the $.50 to $1 more I paid I'm getting a higher quality audio recording. Personally that's important to me, but there was some recent survey that claimed many people couldn't hear the difference between audio quality levels, could be because they're playing their music on the freebee ear buds with their iPods which don't have a very high fidelity, but I'm not going to audio-phile snob out on you, just mentioning that's a possibility. So I still see us at a draw on price, I still think my DRM statement was fair, I'll give you green and I'm still claiming quality.
