The real question then becomes: what is the ratio in this country of "competitive" internet markets to "evil" virtual monopolies. Is the free market even capable of being the remedy here?Another thing i've been pondering is - How does 3G and 4G wireless internet complicate the net neutrality debate with respect to markets?
Well that was anti-climactic.

It would be great if I could find a gamer girlfriend who liked to play 15 hours or so a week like I do..
I worked in a hospital for 7 years...trust me, you get subhuman treatment when you don't have insurance. They will get you stablilized, then release you only to have you come back half dead. Hospitals are not about the human element, they are about the almighty buck and thats the bottom line. Don't be fooled.!

I honestly don't get the hate for Land of the Lost...here's me thinking that it went over everyones heads that that movies was supposed to be a parody of the show? The show was ridiculous (albeit awesome) in how serious it took itself and the movie was poking fun at some of the more idiotic elements. It wasn't good...but it wasn't nearly as awful as many people make it out to be. I thought it was probably the funniest movie he made this year (that I saw at least...Step Brothers and Semi-Pro were just humourless)?
Then do it and shut the ***** off.

Seriously, a monkey randomly hammering out things on a type writer would be more likely to predict tech trends than Dvorak. How that ***** moron is still employed as a technology writer is way beyond my comprehension.
The worst part is the consumer doesn't even have the choice to buy from other sources. However, it's important to keep in mind that a boycott is not always the best solution in cases like this. The working conditions are bad, but if they were out of work things would be worse. Either the workers will have to fight for their own rights (which will be tough and take a very long time), or our major corporations will have to demand better conditions for workers of suppliers (which has no business incentive). There is no easy solution here...
