Did anyone else notice that the sound of people screaming was taken from the sound of when you take over a city in Civilizations 4?

Maybe its just me, but I prefer women that don't tower over me (6'). Not that I wouldn't climb her like a ladder.!

Some pretty cool pictures:http://www.popsci.com/military-aviation-amp-space/ ...?
Not really sad. They could have coded it to run at medium or high as maximum and simply renamed medium to high and high to very high, then just not tell anyone what they did. It would be teh same game, and nobody would be running what is currently the "very high" setting now, but everyone would be satisfied.I wish more games would make their graphics a little future proof. Not necessarily to the crazy degree Crysis did, but when I pull the game out to play again in a while in say 6 months to a year, I wouldn't mind it looking nice. I'm still on an 8800gt with q6600 and can run Crysis on high with no problems. |

It may be an all British team but having two of the best drivers in the field racing each other can't be good. Remember Alonso/Hamilton? It may not be like that but if they are both fighting each other for the drivers title it gives another driver a chance to beat them for less points. For example, Rubens started beating button this year and Vettel nearly came from behind to win the championship. Button/Hamilton will be an even closer fight then Button/Barrichello.

What else do you suppose there is to the matter? I agree there's got to be more to the story, but in general:- Someone takes out life insurance- That person dies- Death certificate and cause of death provided- Insurance is paid out if circumstances meet criteriaNow that last one is crucial, but for both sides. The policy holder was murdered - the beneficiary is not a suspect, and thus the policy should be paid out. Here's the link to the Life Insurance Policy Claim Formhttp://www.aflac.com/us/en/docs/policyholders/clai ...You'll notice that all that is required for file a claim in this case (policy less than two years old) is a Death Certificate, Physicians Statement, a copy of the policy and Police Report. This meets the criteria set by the insurance company. The "insufficient proof of loss" is the part that needs clarification. Is this "insufficient proof of loss of income" or is this "insufficient proof of loss of life". They've said that they need the name of the person who caused the death. This isn't stated on the claim form however.See here:https://asc4.aflac.com/Web_Ordering/pdf/out/A-6207 ...Page 3 states that the policy won't be paid due to suicide within 2 years, nor will it be paid because you endangered yourself. It does not say anything about not paying out for murder without a suspects name. So unless there is a clause in the rest of the policy that says "give us a name", then they had no reason to deny the claim. So yes there's more to it - but how much more? One thing i found absurd... this is from the authorisation section of the claim form:"“Information” means facts or opinions relating to the deceased’s past, present, or future physical or mental health or condition".Future physical or mental health condition? So, perhaps, rigor mortis? |
