That's because...well, who the hell would ever say 'intercoursed' as a synonym to '*****'? I'd absolutely use 'boned' or 'screwed' in the same context. Holy ***** why am I thinking this deep into swear words?.
Tagging it, is about confidence, not demeanor.Keeping it, is about demeanor, not confidence.!

FTA: "The findings by Harvard University researchers surprised doctors and health experts who have believed emergency room care was equitable."This is another drop in a sea of evidence that the uninsured fare much worse in their health in the United States," said senior author Dr. Atul Gawande, a Harvard surgeon and medical journalist."--Link to the study:http://archsurg.ama-assn.org/cgi/content/full/144/ ...?

The suicide rate in the military is now higher than in the general population.www.nimh.nih.gov/health/topics/suicide-prevention/suicide-prevention-studies/questions-and-answers-on-army-starrs.shtmlIn the answer to "What prompted the study":"Suicide rates in the Army were declining between 1994 and 2001, but have risen steadily in recent years to where the rate is now higher than the age- and sex-adjusted rate for the general population. (Historically, the suicide rate has been lower in the military than among civilians.) The Army reported that in 2008, the rate was the highest since the Army began keeping records in 1980 (143 soldiers died by suicide in 2008)."

As I understand it, you are pretty much correct about the need for precise placement. For any given observation the correlator needs to know exactly where each dish is. Part of the calibration procedure takes care of this. I think (but am not sure) that they look at a known signal, use that for calibration, and then look at the target. The precision necessary is going to be a function of the wavelength being observed (mm and sub-mm in this case). But I don't know exactly what that function is.
