At 5 o clock every day the (electronic) polar bears bust out into song. A TRUE STL MUST-SEE!
You people need to purge your Thetans. What are your crimes?

nope, I'm pretty sure we all expected several. . .?
No one, and they were right, unless you count Alternate Dimension US with Vice President Palin. |

This is really simple. If they don't kill 100% of the piranha this pond will be useless. If they kill all the piranha and everything other fish in the pond they will know all of the piranha are dead so they can then restore the pond with new fish once the piranha are gone.

I find it amusing that somebody will actually disregard something that somebody has to say when it deals with a first person experience of living in the exact same location for 18 years, we didn't even have lightening bugs in my region this year. We probably have some other missing species of wild life that are less noticeable for either the same reason or as a direct result of the absents of that species of insect, but I suppose that's perfectly normal too.

Well, you might want to read-up on some history. We (the US) were the copiers in 1900. English folks invented the industrial revolution, jet engines, modern finance, healthcare, etc. For instance, watch the movie Mary Poppins. Really. When the dad sings a song about how great England is in 1910, and how great it is that his kids are growing up in the best country in the world, think about what the next 50 years were like for the kids in England, from 1910 to 1960. Basically, war, depression, more war, then watching the US eat your financial lunch. In 2000, I was on a trip in england with a plumber friend. He said that every hotel was like a museum to him. All the fixtures were new, but the technology was like 40 years ago. You can hear similar things from Asian folks regarding our wireless infrastructure today. Sure, we (the US) may have invented the digital revolution, but the bigger kid on the block can always take our toys away from us. Don't bury your head in the sand. As the saying goes, "Freedom isn't free". It takes hard work and perseverance to stay on top. What we really need to invest in is education. That always yields the greatest returns. But then, the Asians are already doing that too.... So, What are you going to do? |
