I agree that New Zealand is pretty awesome. To add to your list, their unemployment rate is also low.For my taste, it's somewhat remote. The country is small, and you have to fly a good ways to get anywhere. Also, especially the south island is very sparsely populated, i.e. there's somewhat less going on than elsewhere. That said, Auckland and Wellington definitely didn't seem boring to me.So, yeah, it IS a great country!

Rule of thumb: If something says "Collector's Edition" it is of very little value to an actual collector.

“Which was my point in the first place. It was a pagan holiday which was co-opted by the Christians. UR you really are dense. Or are you that hung up on the name of the holiday that you ignore all the other facts?

I'm not sure about the end goal, but when I first got here, I used it to find obscure tech stories, then to bookmark a variety of stuff and now it's almost a bunch of mini forums (the comments sections) based around the individual stories. I comment on a lot more stories than I digg. I use the actual digg function to bookmark stories, not as a "like" button. However, when I digg a comment it is a "like"..
No one cares. Haven't you all figured that out yet? Because most of you are part of the problem. Our nation was founded by people (Puritans) who believed that poverty was a sign from God that the poor person was a sinner and their poverty was God punishing them. We haven't evolved spiritually at all, other than many of those who recently were ***** on the poor and have consistently voted to make life more difficult for the 'evil poor' have now become part of the poor. Serves ya right.!
One thing to remember about our national debt is that most of it is owed-by AND owned-to our own citizens. That's not to say that I don't have concerns about our fiscal future. The biggest concern I have is how much we owe China & Japan. About 25% of our national debt is owed to other countries. Many of these countries have managed to exploit our so-called "Free trade" agreements by selling us goods but not buying anything back from us. That's why we have a $800 billion per year trade deficit. Frankly, I agree with Warren Buffet when I say that I'm more concerned about our trade deficit than our national debt. Our trade deficit is what made foreign ownership of our debts possible.
