This is about control and nothing else.For the record, speaking from experience I can tell you right now that some of the worst drunks I've ever seen pounded regular light beet all night. They didn't need caffeine to "keep them awake long enough." The only thing that stopped them from dying was probably the fact they ran out of beer. That said, given the alcohol content of something like sparks, its price tag, and its packaging all compared to your average canned light beer I'm going to say that the supposed danger increase a whole lot of *****.

“im very very impressed. HUGE step up from past cards. hardocp clocked it at an average of 40 fps on very high at 1920 x 1200 with 4x aa. and that means at the ice levels, which are horribly demanding. impressive. and everyone saying it's been 3 years and still not 60 fps, well, the game is lightyears ahead of every other game visually. sure, graphics aren't everything, but im glad someone is at least pushing to see what's possible. not just settling for mainstream success. and btw crysis and crysis warhead are both great games. seriously.

I guess the Royal Family is the ultimate safeguard against a Prime Minister or Government going berserk. The Queen vetoes any PM candidate, and can choose to make PMs resign, or even stay on in power. Heck, during the 50s the Queen apparently almost staged a coup; because of concerns that the then-current PM, Harold Wilson, was a Soviet spy. But don't go thinking that the Queen can just go waltzing in and take over everything, the Armed Forces for instance are under control of Parliament; not the royalty. EDIT: She also has a very important role in that of being the Head of State. Most of the royalties time is taken up with formal visits, diplomacy, etcetera etcetera.!

Okay... why the comment about hatching a cow then if you know that to be a ridiculous scenario?I'm not an evolutionary biologist, but I believe that I can answer at least in the ballpark about where new information comes from. Basically, it is changes/mutation in DNA. These can have many causes; transcription errors, insertion of viral DNA, radiation and other environmental influences, etc. Most times, these changes can do basically nothing, or cause something negative like cancer or other genetic diseases. Once in a great while they are beneficial, for example making a moth a color that is harder for predators to see in a particular environment. That mutation will eventually become part of the standard genetic code, rather than an odd exception.It isn't so much dumb luck. Think of it more like buying millions of lottery tickets every day for millions of years. It wouldn't be luck or divine intervention when you hit a bunch of jackpots, it is actually statistically probably. Similarly, every bit of DNA in your body has a chance of mutation when it is replicated. This happens in billions of your cells every day, and in the billions of cells in the trillions of other creatures, every day. This has been the case since life began. It would be surprising if there had been no changes that stuck around in all that time. Much like the lottery tickets, however, most of them are losers and end up discarded.
