I used to get Time and Newsweek, and tried to read them to get in-depth accounts on politics, global matters, economy, etc. For years, that was their niche, but that was before the 24 hour cable news stations and the internet. It's hard to believe how different things were back then. My folks used to spend about two hours reading newspapers and Time after supper, and then they would read novels in bed before turning in. In some ways, But even back then, I did not enjoy it too much unless there was a topic that I found totally interesting. I just realized that I was forcing myself to read because I thought it was what responsible people did. In the end, I just did not have the time nor the ambition to commit to it.I'll still buy a copy at the newsstand or read one in the library if there is a compelling story, but I hate to see this kind of journalism go by the wayside.
I actually leveled a Farmville account to 25 in hopes of one day being able to attack other farms. If so, it's going to be the FarmVille Apocalypse as far as the retards on my facebook account are concerned.

“The U.S. was built on copying innovations of Europe. We didn't respect any of their copyrights or patents for our first decade. It's part of why we were able to gain so much momentum going into the late 19th century industrial revolution.

I was about to be disappointed in Digg...a Krugman article without a Clooney joke. You, sir, have restored my faith in consistency of Digg..
From each according to his ability.!

mess on the seats is usually at places that don't have (or are out) of toilet seat covers and the girls try to "hover". On the floor/wall .... well sometimes the pee comes out at a weird angle because of umm.. how things are sitting ... On the ceiling? I have no idea. guys don't talk when they pee? I've had lots of conversations with friends in public bathrooms... but then girls usually pee in groups and are in separate stalls.?
Now if only we could get keyboard cat to play it... |

Lesson: Do it in 45 minutes and ***** off for the rest of your allotted time. Bonus points if you telecommute.

It's true this type of art is very superficial. I used to reproduce photographs in art class but it got boring very quickly. Reproducing photographs is an excellent start for beginning artists, like how musicians practice the scales or play an already created song.I think the guys that I truly respect are the comic book artists and artist that can draw well but also create something original. I like Jack Kirby, Jim Lee, Alvin Lee, John Buscema. If you look for those guy's speed drawing videos in real time. It's really amazing. |
