This sounds like the same problem that they have in the netherlands - when other countries laws are ***** backwards, and you are a progressive nation with rational laws, people flock to your country to take advantage of things that should be a basic human right and in doing so, cause unintended consequences. In other words, the lowest common denominator holds back progress.
Why do you think so many of us are fighting for health care reform??

“"Windows 7 Home Premium costs 699 yuan (US$103) in China, compared to $199.99 in the U.S."So let me get this straight: China gets Windows 7 half off because they pirate it too much?

Yes, because the domesticated cow as we know it is so natural. Human intervention has already irreversibly altered the genetic makeup of the modern dairy cow and other farm animals for our benefit. It makes them that much more delicious.Numerous scientists have stated that will will need to double food production before long, and this is the next logical step. We've already modified crops to bring agriculture to climates where it was once thought impossible. Science fiction notions of cow mutiny are simply misinformed.?
I don't think doing it for the main tree of .net would actually be very helpful. .net is already completely free as in beer, and is tied to a closed source OS that isn't going anywhere on that front. Very little about .net that isn't already open source through Microsoft(the CLR) or the Mono project isn't dependent on closed source stuff, and it probably does expose some proprietary knowledge about the OS that Microsoft would rather not let out. It might help Mono keep up with .net a little bit more but I doubt it would be as noticeable as you would think, the difference between having a solid specification + a blessing IP wise (which MS already provides) and the source code when you have to change the code significantly anyway is nil. |

It's Simona Halep not Simona Heap. Makes searching pics and videos a bit easier, for instance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcpXYb6Kma0
