| "I have yet, though, to have anyone explain how extra information gets into dna in order to "create" new species."Mutation. It's really that simple. We're all mutants. Every human embryo has, on average, something like 129 mutations (I forget the exact number, but that's close). Most of those are neutral - not expressed at all. Some may be detrimental, some may be beneficial. The benefit/detriment of any particular mutation is determined by the environment the organism with the mutation is in. Webbed feet are a detriment in a desert, but they're beneficial in a swamp. Those organisms with beneficial mutations are more likely to pass on their genes, while those with detrimental mutations are more likely to die before passing them on.There are various types of mutations as well. Point deletions/insertions which cause frame shifts (DNA is read in sets of three - inserting or deleting a single gene causes the whole chain to be read differently), gene duplications, or just a change in a single base pair (or a few base pairs).Dawkins recently wrote a great article that sums it up here:http://www.skeptics.com.au/publications/articles/t ... |

It's all about a vanishing point perspective. If you bend her over and view her from the rear then her shoulder area is farther away from you so it looks normal.
I know! its like they do gymnastics in there or something.

“Good question, it's their squeaky clean mentality way of doing business to be honest. Just trying to deal with them, they treat you like crap. Typical nerd that now thinks they're trendy stuff. It's hard to explain, but you can't deal with musicians and labels like you do corporate clients, we don't operate that way, we're not your average office workers. That's why we got into the creative business in the first place. To be honest I stopped talking to them two years ago and we now use a Digital aggregator who deals with that stuff for us. Most digital stores, Beatport, Juno etc. etc. at least you can talk to them as music lovers and give them say a percentage deal for exclusive front page spreads etc. With Apple it was just ( if you ever got a reply from them ) you do it our way, or you don't do it at all.I mean with the LP thing, even if we had that kind of money to spend, why in hell would we want to deal with a corporate sourced graphic designer, what possible creative input from a street level would somebody like that have. I'm not really interested in your qualifications or where you went to school, I want to know you went out getting ***** up in the clubs, listening to the music, or hung with a bunch of skaters or artists or creatives and you're bringing that to the table Monday morning as inspiration, not how you dug the coffee at ***** starbucks on the way to work. Different mentality... completely, couldn't deal with it.

unfortunatly They will but look at the beatles concerts then look at a New Kids on the Block, NSYNC, and Backstreet they look the same "Cookie Cutter". Beatles are corporate rock there was soooooo much better stuff floating around then besides them. Americans rule Punk and Rock why do you think the brits sound american when they sing well except for madonna.
Nice, I have to check these out. I've been limited to Phosphor, which is fun but quite limited ... http://www.rasterwerks.com/!

I like this idea, it's quite utilitarian.?
So getting Americans to be against China will make it OK to not pay China back? I don't get that, but then again, you might be trolling. |

Bailing out the AIGs of the world had two general effects. One, to stop the financial house of cards from crashing the rest of the world's economy around it.Two, to keep existing world trade and construction projects that depended on borrowed money going.Oh. Thats actually two ways ot saying the same thing.Never mind.PS. It also enabled the CEOs to get bonuses for sucking in the governments of the world who did similar bailouts. So there are two effects after all!

I really don't get how this is an issue. Olbermann has entertained a 9/11 truther on his show. Journalist have been given awards for interviewing members of Hezbollah, the liberation tigers of TE, etc. And I am positive that Glenn Beck, as well as many popular TV commentary's, have interviewed people like Jesse Jackson, who have said countless racist remarks. It is the job of anyone in news (whether a journalist or commentary) to seek out the views of people who hold any sort of power. The mere fact these are prominent individuals justifies the desire to interview them. |
